Privacy Policy

karen is a Discord bot. We collect only the minimal data required to operate the AntiNuke and security features. This includes:

• Discord Server IDs and Guild metadata (used to store per-server configurations)

• Discord User IDs of server owners, Extra Owners, and whitelisted users

• Audit log event data processed in real-time (not stored beyond incident logging)

• Configuration settings you explicitly provide via bot commands

We do not collect message content, personal information, email addresses, or any data beyond what Discord itself provides to bot integrations.

Data collected by karen is used exclusively to operate the Sentinel Engine:

• Server IDs and configurations are stored to maintain your security settings across sessions

• User IDs are stored in whitelist and Extra Owner records to enforce security rules

• Audit log data is processed in real-time for threat detection and is not retained beyond the active session

We do not sell, share, or monetize any user or server data. Your configuration is private and accessible only to the bot.

Security configuration data (whitelist entries, Extra Owner slots, Panic Mode state) is retained as long as karen is present in your server.

Upon removing karen from your server, you may request full data deletion by contacting us via our Discord support server.

Incident logs, if any are stored, are retained for a maximum of 30 days and then permanently deleted.

karen operates entirely within the Discord platform. We do not integrate third-party analytics, advertising networks, or data brokers.

We use MongoDB for persistent storage of configuration data. All database connections are encrypted in transit and at rest.

This website uses Vercel Analytics for anonymous traffic measurements only (no user-identifiable data).

By using Discord and adding karen to your server, you are also subject to Discord's own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

karen operates strictly within the permissions you grant at bot authorization time. We request only the permissions necessary to perform security functions.

karen is not directed at individuals under the age of 13. Discord itself requires users to be at least 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be communicated via our Discord support server. Continued use of karen after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
